GET READY TO RADICALLY CHANGE YOUR APPROACH TO WORK AND LIFE.
THE ENERGY LEADERSHIP INDEX ASSESSMENT
The Energy Leadership™ Index (ELI) assessment is the proprietary, research-backed assessment tool that takes something abstract, like the way a person views the world, and turns it into something tangible—a metric that you can see and feel and even reevaluate in the future. And, it’s only available through an iPEC Certified Coach.
YOU'VE TAKEN PERSONALITY TESTS...BUT NOW IT'S TIME FOR AN ATTITUDINAL ASSESSMENT.
You’re probably familiar with personality tests like Myers Briggs, DiSC, and Enneagram.
These valuable tools can help you understand your strengths, embrace your weaknesses, and discover how you can work to your full potential. In that way, they typically support a “work with what you have” approach to adapting your behavior and pursuing personal excellence.
The ELI, on the other hand, is an attitudinal assessment tool that captures how an individual currently perceives and approaches work and life.
With the awareness and insights gained through the Energy Leadership Index debrief, clients have the opportunity to reshape their attitudes and worldview and “transform who they are.”
The Energy Leadership™ Index assessment can be given at the start of a coaching relationship and as a regular follow up assessment to provide tangible, research-backed ROI data for any coaching engagement.
DISCOVER THE INNOVATIVE CONCEPTS BEHIND THIS POWERFUL ASSESSMENT
Catabolic vs Anabolic Energy
You’re probably very familiar with catabolic energy and don’t even know it.
The leader who’s always in a bad mood, who creates tension wherever they go? That’s catabolic energy in a nutshell. This energy of worry, frustration, and blame is ultimately destructive and if left unchecked, can create a depressing, toxic environment.
In contrast, anabolic energy is constructive and fuels creativity.
Someone operating in the anabolic energy range has the ability to motivate and inspire others to do extraordinary things, influence positive outcomes, and create incredible change within every area of their life.
Energy Levels at a Glance
Energy influences how we act because it forms the “lens” through which we perceive the world.
For example, if you go to a concert after a long, hard day at work, your experience probably won’t be the same as it would be if you were going after a relaxing vacation. You might decide those screaming fans are annoying instead of just enthusiastic!
We use seven different energy “levels” to describe the types of energy a person experiences and expresses. Here’s how someone experiencing each level of energy might react in a situation where they are on a team with a co-worker who is very forceful and directive.
Level 1: Lack of choice. Victim energy. I can’t. I have to. Fearful.
“I’m so upset. It’s like I don’t even exist - he just ignores me.”
Level 2: Anger. Combativeness. Resisting or fighting energy.
“I’m gonna tell this guy off. I’m so MAD!”
Level 3: Rationalizing. Fine.
“It’s okay. He’s been here a long time and he IS on my team. I guess I can just deal with it.”
Level 4: Care. Compassion. Service to others.
“I really want the best for him and for the company. I’m happy to support him in any way I can.”
Level 5: Reconciliation. Win-win. There’s no good or bad or right or wrong.
“Where’s the opportunity here? How can we both win?”
Level 6: Intuition. Creative genius. The space of brilliant visionaries.
“We’re all connected and everything here has value and purpose.”
Level 7: Complete passion for all aspects of life. Oneness.
“I feel complete passion and joy in this, and all situations.”
While you might notice that level 1 and 2 are largely catabolic and probably won’t bring about the greatest results, there’s no "good" or "bad" energy per se.
Each type of energy has inherent advantages and disadvantages and can be consciously used to reach specific goals. It’s also normal for us to cycle up and down the spectrum… we rarely hang out at one level all the time.

TAKE THE ASSESSMENT.
(ELI-MP) As an ELI Master Practitioner, I am happy to connect you with the simple online assessment, which takes about 20 minutes to complete.
Once the results are in, your I will guide you through a 1:1 Energy Leadership Index debrief session. Through this personalized session, you’ll discover the percentage of each of the 7 energy levels that you typically experience under stress and also under “normal” conditions.
You’ll also discover your Average Resonating Level of Energy (A.R.L.), which represents the average of all your energy levels, under normal conditions and in reaction to stressful circumstances.
You’ll gain insights into where (and how) you’re investing your energy and discover a clear path to your work and life goals—and likely, a higher A.R.L.
EXPERIENCE MORE ENERGY, ENTHUSIASM, AND PASSION IN YOUR LIFE.
A study from over 30,000 participants show that people with higher A.R.L.’s are statistically more satisfied with all aspects of their lives—from relationships and personal freedom to communication skills and leadership ability.
Forbes Coaches Council recommends the ELI Assessment as “...one assessment they highly recommend executives take.”
